Hi!
As I think most of you know, I started long distance running a few years ago. I’m still running, but doing something a little differently this time: I’ve spent the last several months training for the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon with the American Cancer Society’s training team. It’s been so much fun, and it’s such a nice change from running all those miles by myself.
I’m also raising money for ACS, which will go toward cancer research and to programs benefiting cancer patients and their families. If you’d like to donate, I would so appreciate it! Even $5 or $10 helps.

When Cindy Wine was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago, she came home from her first radiation treatment to an empty house.
“My husband said he couldn’t go with me — he was too busy at work,” says the 55-year-old former radio host from Indianapolis. “But when I got home, all of his stuff was gone. I felt like somebody had punched me in the gut.”
You guys, THIS STORY, I can’t even.
